    Not everyone is up for the 1250 steps (or 30 minutes), and sometimes aggressive monkeys, up to the top of the mountain. But many people feel it’s worth it to visit the beautiful temples, Buddha statues, and see the views over Krabi town, the countryside, many other (mostly smaller) hills and the islands in the Andaman sea. Flip flops may work, but comfortable sneakers with good tread are recommended. Avoid feeding or getting too close to the excitable monkeys.

    Getting there from Ao Nang takes you about 30 minutes…
    A great thing to do in krabi that only takes you about 2.5 to 3 hours overall.

  • 1237 steep stair steps up the mountain where most of the attractions are, make wheelchair access impossible and hiking arduous. However, there are some interesting things to see at the bottom of the mountain. Monkeys might be a bother... so don't feed or annoy them. Bring water!
